A dream and an opportunity.
In 2016, I had a dream of hosting a pop-up market in the Bloomington-Normal (Illinois) Area. There weren’t any large markets in our area that featured upscale vendors, boutiques and makers from around the state.
Working as a full-time nurse and married into the Rader Family Farms family, I took a chance and invited vendors to participate in the first-ever pop-up market…that existed only in my imagination. Much to my pleasant surprise, The Farmstead Fair was born in August of 2017.
With help from friends and family, the Farmstead Fair has grown each year, now featuring 110+ hand-selected vendors. We are proud to promote other small businesses, creating an opportunity for the community to shop unique items and merchandise available only at this once-a-year market! #WeLoveOurVendors

Thankful for my family who supports The Farmstead Fair Pop-up Market each year! My husband, Adam, is the Director of Operations for Rader Family Farms and our kids help work for both businesses.
Also thankful to the Rader Family Farms family & staff who open their wonderful food venues and facilities for The Farmstead Fair pop-up event each year!
